Dr. Brian Gaudette has been providing specialized endodontic care at Ocean State Endodontics since 1997. He is dedicated to helping patients preserve their natural teeth through precise, patient-centered treatment for conditions affecting the dental pulp and root canal system. He is committed to creating a comfortable experience while delivering individualized treatment plans designed to restore oral health and relieve dental pain.
Dr. Gaudette earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1989 before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1993. He continued his advanced training by completing a postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, followed by a two-year residency in Endodontics, where he earned his Certificate in Endodontics in 1998.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Cranston Dental Society. Dr. Gaudette remains committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in endodontic technology and treatment techniques to provide the highest quality specialty care for his patients.
Dr. Gaudette lives in Wakefield, RI with his wife and daughter. Outside the office, he is an avid sports fan who enjoys staying active through hiking, golf, fitness activities, and bowling.
I saw Dr. Gaudette and his assistant Kate today for a root canal. Going into it I was nervous since I had never had this procedure before and historically I have felt pain with fillings in that same tooth multiple times so I was worried about pain level. I let Kate and Dr. Gaudette know my concerns and they reassured me that the numbing was going to be adequate and they explained the general procedure and they walked me through every step of the process throughout the procedure. They made sure I was comfortable and checked in frequently. The procedure itself was quick, and PAINLESS. Not an ounce of pain was felt. Thank you for providing excellent patient care and ensuring I had the best experience possible. I will absolutely return should I need any further endodontic care and will also be referring my friends and family if they need that care. From the front desk to Dr. Gaudette, an absolute 10/10 experience all the way through!
Have always had a great experience here. Dr. Gaudette is always kind, caring and excellent at what he does. The only thing I really noticed was in the waiting room the music is very loud. When you have a toothache and are in pain, loud music is not comforting.
I had a root canal today . Dr Gaudette was professional and kind and explained everything clearly. His assistant, Mari, was great and kept me calm. Also Elaine at the front desk was so helpful and very reassuring. It was a procedure that was less stressful because of these three professionals. Thanks!
I was referred to Ocean State Endodontics by my dentist, for an unexpected root canal.They were able to take me immediately, and I saw Dr. Gaudette. From the front desk, to his assistant Kaitlyn, to Dr. Gaudette, my experience here was actually outstanding. It’s not often you feel moved this way. But Kaitlyn was extremely honest, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Gaudette was truly excellent. He explained and informed me of the situation, he was honest , detail oriented, respectful and informative. This man has integrity and these days that can be hard to come by unfortunately.
