Going into it I was nervous since I had never had this procedure before and historically I have felt pain with fillings in that same tooth multiple times so I was worried about pain level. I let Kate and Dr. Gaudette know my concerns and they reassured me that the numbing was going to be adequate and they explained the general procedure and they walked me through every step of the process throughout the procedure. They made sure I was comfortable and checked in frequently. The procedure itself was quick, and PAINLESS. Not an ounce of pain was felt. Thank you for providing excellent patient care and ensuring I had the best experience possible. I will absolutely return should I need any further endodontic care and will also be referring my friends and family if they need that care. I wish it never happened, but when you are up to needing these kinds of services, you only hope you get to the right place. It was exactly what happened with me. The best possible way to describe my experience is by saying that when I was receiving my root canal work, I made considerable efforts to not to fall asleep. That comfortable I felt. They exercise a joint approach to the patient that starts with the front desk, continues with the supporting or assistance staff, and ends with the DMD that performs the treatment. I hate rudeness in people, but also fake politeness. However, I am moved by genuine and authentic people—those without a forced smile, or with enough maturity to remain silent rather than offend. Two assistants with whom I happened to interact reminded me, through the simplicity of their gestures, that human values still exist.
